Miss Maryland to be Crowned February 7th in Rockville, Maryland
Miss Maryland United States 2016 will be crowned in Rockville this Sunday, February 7, 2016. Women from across the state will compete for a title within the Miss United States National Pageant Organization. Delegates have been selected to represent counties and cities from across the state. Seven state titles will be awarded. Proceeds of the pageant will help support the pageant's new national partnership with the No Kid Hungry Campaign.
Rockville, MD, February 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Miss Maryland United States 2016 will be crowned in Rockville on Sunday, February 7, with a weekend of activities leading up to the final pageant.
From Feb 5—Feb 7th, Rockville will welcome 30 young female representatives ages 8-39 who are vying for a Maryland state title within the Miss United States National Pageant Organization. Delegates have been selected to represent counties and cities from across the state. Seven state titles are awarded based on age, including Miss Maryland United States, Miss Teen Maryland United States and Little Miss Maryland United States.
Miss United States National Pageant Organization was recently ranked as the #2 pageant in the nation by The Pageant Planet, a leading resource in pageantry.
This past July, reigning Miss Maryland United States Jordyn Goddard placed in the Top 10 at the national Miss United States Pageant held in Washington, DC. Jordyn is a graduate of the University of Maryland and teaches third grade. A former student athlete, she enjoys staying active by rock climbing, figure skating, and dancing. Jordyn has previously held titles as Miss College Park 2011 and Miss Maryland Collegiate America. Jordyn will crown her successor on February 7th at Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Conference Center in Rockville, MD.

Activities include a runway contest, interviews, and cocktail reception. Emcees for select shows include 2011 Miss Teen United States Ashley Greenfield, International model, singer, & performer Valentino Lucas, Miss Supertalent of the World USA 2014 Jahaira Bratton, and Owner of Be Victorious Pageant Prep & Image Consulting Victory Mohamed. Judges feature a wide range of qualified personnel from the industries of modeling, fashion, media, health, entertainment and pageantry.
