Radio Theater Production of Science Fiction Tale “Ole Doc Methuselah” at the L. Ron Hubbard Theatre in Hollywood
Hollywood, CA, February 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The humorous science fiction adventure, “Ole Doc Methuselah,” will be performed this coming Saturday, February 6, at the L. Ron Hubbard Theatre, located on Hollywood Boulevard, one block west of the Chinese Theatre.

It is the story of Ole Doc Methuselah who is one of 600 elite, Soldier of Light Immortals, who have dedicated themselves to the preservation of mankind, combating disease, corruption and the desperate perversities of human behavior along the intergalactic space ways. With his devoted companion, the four-armed, one-meter-high, gypsum eating, book reading Hippocrates, Ole Doc travels the galaxies in his spaceship, affectionately named the Morgue, in search of planets desperately needing medical or moral attention. In this, the first of 7 stories in the Ole Doc Methuselah Series, Doc lands on the planet Spico, initially to do some fishing. But instead—ignoring the codes of authority under which he operates—Doc finds himself administering summary justice to a man who has heartlessly swindled the inhabitants of the city.

A poster featuring Hippocrates as the 4-armed voracious book-reading alien and Ole Doc Methuselah's sidekick, was the focus of a very successful reading campaign done several years ago in conjunction with the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress and Cartoonists Across America. These posters were up in libraries across the US.

Enjoy a great show, a night of live Hollywood intimate radio theater and cabaret-style comfortable seating (where every seat in the house is a good seat). The best way to spend Saturday night in Hollywood.
