Cedar Lake Cellars to Host Irish Whiskey and Beer Dinner

St. Louis winery presents second annual evening featuring a wide array of food and drink.

St. Louis, MO, February 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, will host its second annual Irish Whiskey and Beer dinner on Sat., March 12 from 7 to 9 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older for $50 per person. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.

The first course includes lobster and smoked pork belly grits paired with Buffalo Trace Bourbon. The second course features Marcoot cave-aged gouda wedge, field greens, dried blueberries with a cherry sazon vinaigrette paired with Beer Cherry Saison.

The third course is a salt roasted beef tenderloin topped with tobacco onions served with two sides – triple-cream snap dragon brie mac and cheese, as well as a bourbon-braised red cabbage – paired with Blanton’s Bourbon. The fourth course is chocolate espresso truffle brownie topped with vanilla bean ice cream and a warm milk stout caramel sauce paired with Beer Dog Days Stout.
