Gateshead Cleaning Specialist Set to Test Its Toughness to Raise Essential Funds for Company Charity
For many individuals 10 kilometres of mud, mud and more mud is their idea of a nightmare but in a bid to raise funds for a cause close to their hearts, three team members from UK Commercial Cleaning Solutions Ltd (UKCCS) are currently preparing for a challenge of a rather similar description.
Gateshead, United Kingdom, February 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- UKCCS’ Sam James, Lee Calvert and Tony Earnshaw are all set to take on the ultimate obstacle course, the Mad March Mare, a gruelling event that tests the most enduring fitness levels. Taking place on 5th March 2016 at Hexham Racecourse, the Mad March Mare consists of more than 30 natural and man-made obstacles, but for the trio this test of strength, stamina, mental grit and teamwork is worth taking on to raise essential funds for local charity, Sara’s Hope Foundation.
“Sara’s Hope is one charity that has been an inspiration to us from the very beginning of our fundraising work as a company, and the Mad March Mare event is just another chance to raise money for the cause. As a children’s cancer charity, Sara’s Hope, offers the support and respite children and young people with cancer need to strengthen relationships, create happy and lasting memories, and enjoy precious time with their families in between long hospital stays, traumatic medical procedures and cancer related treatments,” said Tony Earnshaw, founder and owner of UK Commercial Cleaning Solutions.
The Gateshead based company has worked closely with Sara’s Hope for some time, and even competed in the Great North Run to raise £1,500 for the charity back in September. Whilst it will be Sam, Lee and Tony taking on the Mad March Mare, the whole team at UKCCS is busy fundraising in the run up to the event.
Tony added, “As with the funds raised last autumn, any money donated in the run up to the Mad March Mare will be used to help the charity continue its work with children and young people with cancer so please give generously.”
