St. Louis Military Families Sending Free Valentine’s Video Emails to Troops Abroad
Doc’s Harley-Davidson and world’s leading Internet Solutions provider, WSI through their offices in St. Louis team up to offer free video email to military families with loved ones serving overseas. Anyone with loved ones abroad, are able to stop by Doc’s on February 14th to send out a free Valentine’s video email to any one in the armed forces.
St. Louis, MO, February 10, 2006 --(PR.com)-- St. Louis based Doc’s Harley-Davidson and the local office of WSI are providing military families the chance to send a free video email to those serving abroad. All participants need is a valid email address for their soldier and they can send a 1-3 minute message to their friend or family member. Local troops are encouraged to stop by and send a video greeting home as well.
Doc’s, known for its support of the armed forces, will host the event and WSI will be donating its time, technology and staff to make the event possible. WSI’s video email technology records the video message to a laptop and then uploads it to a server. Once recorded and previewed the message is sent out as a hyperlink to the addressee. When the message is received the email contains a link were the recipient can view the greeting. This innovative technology allows video emails to be recorded or viewed with any internet connection speed and software loaded on all modern computers.
The WSI office operated by Ron Adelman is excited about the event and the opportunity for military families. “This event is a great way to allow families to send their love and let their soldiers know they’re thinking about them this Valentine’s Day,” said Ron Adelman. “This is a pilot program,” Ron Adelman explained, “if successful this promotion can be replicated all over the country and abroad.” Anyone not able to come down to the event can contact Ron Adelman's WSI office for future events in the area.
