Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices New Jersey Properties Hosts Grand Re-Opening at New Summit Office
The new Summit Office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a beautiful art gallert.
Summit, NJ, February 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A landmark bank building in the center of downtown Summit has been transformed into a modern, innovative real estate office designed to showcase art and serve as a community hub.
Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties will hold an open house for the public on February 25th at 4:30 p.m. All are invited to experience the new space, view the first art installation and meet members of the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties Team. Special guests include the Honorable Nora Radest, mayor of Summit and Stephen Phillips, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
Local officials are enthusiastic about the creative reuse of an existing storefront. "It is exciting to welcome Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties to its new home in downtown Summit," said Radest, mayor of Summit. “The new space is a vibrant and flexible addition to the other businesses and organizations along Springfield Avenue. I wish them continued success in their new location.”
The new Summit office was designed to be a contemporary business center, marrying Summit’s sophistication with the needs of today’s real estate professional and consumer. To that end, an open floorplan, collaborative workspaces, an unexpected and vibrant art gallery to showcase local artists’ works, and state-of-the-art technology—including an “interactive storefront” with a through-window, navigable display to facilitate property search for Summit’s downtown clientele—create a unique real estate experience.
The building, formerly home to a Penzeys Spices, originally served as a flagship location of City Federal Savings Bank. Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New Jersey Properties retained several features of the original bank building, including the vault.
Chris Brown, general sales manager, reflected on his company’s history in Summit. “For nearly four decades, we have been active members of this business community. Our new Summit office is testament to our longevity as well as our commitment to our clients, customers and agents.”
