Nancy Matter Motorsports Continues Guardian For Heroes Foundation Alliance Through 2017 Racing Season
Dallas, TX, February 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Nancy Matter Motorsports is proud to announce their alliance with the Guardian For Heroes Foundation - The Chris Kyle Legacy will continue through the 2017 Racing Seasons.
Matter acknowledges their on track performance was far from spectacular in 2015 since not only did they change their engine combination which leaves little to no data after brief test sessions, but Matter also sustained an injury to her left foot in July which subsequently, sidelined the team throughout the majority of the season from any racing activities.
“We experienced an immense amount of change during the 2015 racing season,” notes Matter. “Being injured was one thing, but our alliance with Wayne, Deby, Jeff and Amy Kyle, Guardian For Heroes Foundation and The Chris Kyle Memorial Benefit has been an incredible honor for us and we look forward to what the future has in store, on and off Track. We learned a lot of what didn't work last year and we’ve made a plethora of changes that we’re hoping will produce results when we test in San Antonio next week.”
Prior to testing in San Antonio, the Guardian For Heroes Foundation Top Alcohol Racing Operation will be on display at Fort Sam Houston and SAMMC (Medical Center). The team will be handing out Raceway tickets (along with other items of interest) to Military personnel and their wives to come spend the day with the team at the track.
Guardian For Heroes Foundation was founded by U.S. Navy Seal, CPO Chris Kyle, in 2012 after his fourth and final tour in Iraq. Chris, along with his friend and Veteran Supporter, Chad Littlefield both strived to continue to Serve their Country by assisting brothers-in-arms that were having difficulty acclimating back to domestic life, including our countries crisis of epidemic proportions where 22 American soldiers are committing suicide each day which includes 7 active service personnel each week.
