Newport Beach, CA, February 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The son of an architect and builder, Shawn Halan grew up with a passion for real estate. After gaining many years of experience in both the commercial and residential real estate fields, he has brought his talents to the Newport Beach office of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services California Properties as REALTOR®-Sales Associate and luxury property specialist.

After earning a diploma in real estate at New York University, Halan worked for eight years on a team representing premium midtown office buildings such as 320 Park Avenue, The Gucci Building, and the Tiffany Building.

With a promotion in hand, Halan was transferred to California as vice president of sales, representing the landlord of the Grand Avenue Plaza, the last skyscraper to be built in downtown Los Angeles.

He returned to New York, working in sales, marketing, new-brand launches, and design. After a stop in Dallas, Texas, he settled in Orange County, where he successfully represented many fine coastal homes and inland estate properties, most recently representing both sides of the transaction for a professional athlete and an International buyer.

An avid health and fitness enthusiast, his personal passions include cycling, sports, spy thrillers, and feel-good movies.
