Industrial Textiles and Plastics Exhibit at Ecobuild 2016

Building protection materials producer ITP will be showcasing innovative new products in March at Ecobuild, the UK’s largest sustainable construction exhibition.

York, United Kingdom, February 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The UK’s leading producer of protective engineered textiles and chemical resistant membranes, Industrial Textiles and Plastics Ltd (ITP), will be exhibiting at Ecobuild in London, from 8 to 10 March, at the Excel centre. More than 40,000 industry professional s are expected to attend the event, which is one of the world’s largest exhibitions dedicated to the sustainable construction and energy market. ITP’s sales team will be in the centre of the Sustainable Design & Construction section on stand E4054.

ITP’s wide product range includes building membranes, gas barriers and scaffold sheeting, with specialist expertise in flame retardant and chemical resistant technologies.

New for 2016, they will be showcasing several innovative products, including Powerbase VOC, the next generation membrane for hydrocarbon and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), for use on contaminated land projects. The environmental protection barrier membrane has exceptional resistance to hydrocarbons and chemicals commonly found on brownfield and industrial sites. With extremely low permeation levels, Powerbase VOC passes all criteria for the latest CIRIA and British standards for dealing with these types of potentially harmful contaminants. Unique to the industry, ITP have created the VOC app that can be used by contractors, installers, specifiers and environmental consultants to calculate the permeation rates through the membrane of contaminants specific to the construction site.

The Powerlon UV Colour is a unique range of poly-acrylic, breathable membranes, engineered to provide long-term protection for exposed ventilated cladding installations behind wooden, glass or metal mesh facades. The UV Colour range offers outstanding flame retardancy of Class 0, providing much needed prevention of surface spread of flame both horizontally and vertically. This innovative building material opens up exciting new, creative opportunities for modern architectural design.

Also being showcased at Ecobuild are ITP’s new acoustic sound barriers in multiple formats and sizes for scaffolding and perimeter protection. Powerclad flame retardant acoustic sheeting is particularly suitable for use in sensitive commercial and residential environments to minimise both visual and noise pollution. ITP is the only UK building materials supplier with an in-house, large-scale digital printing capacity, providing clients with the opportunity for high-impact branding and marketing; images and logos can be printed up to three metres wide and to virtually any length.

Marc van der Voort, managing director of ITP, said, “Ecobuild has been at the centre of construction innovation for 11 years, and ITP, as industry innovators, see exhibiting there for the first time as the ideal opportunity to showcase our technologically advanced building protection materials.”
