Personal Care America Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the unveiling of three new innovative products designed to help members prepare for major life altering events.
Trumbull, CT, December 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Personal Care America Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the unveiling of three new innovative savings products designed to help their members put money aside for large personal expenses. The new products were created with the specific desire to assist members to prepare for life altering events and help avoid financial hardship such as credit card debt while paying for them. Available January 3rd, 2008, the new savings accounts will be open to any current member of the credit union or any person eligible for membership and will earn a dividend rate 1% higher than the traditional 12 month Certificate of Deposit. In addition, each member who enrolls will meet with a credit union representative to assess their current financial status and goals and then work together to create a customized plan for the future. The first 100 members that enroll and deposit $500 in one of these accounts will receive an automatic bonus of $100.

G.R.A.D. is a savings account that is available to members wishing to save money for future education. It can be used personally for the individual or for any family member including children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The money collected in this account can be used for, but is not limited to, educational expenses such as tuition, books, and registration fees at both primary and secondary institutions.
H.O.M.E. is an account designed to help buyers save money that can be applied towards the purchase of their first home. The home must be purchased in the name of the account holder. Acceptable costs that are covered by the account include down payments, inspections, mortgage fees, and closing costs.
P.A.C.E. provides a way for members to save money for unexpected cash emergencies that might otherwise deplete traditional savings accounts or be paid with credit cards. Events such as job loss, auto or home repair, and family illness are just a few that qualify for this savings plan.
