Rene Laviolette Named President of MTI Systems, Inc., Cost Estimating Software Provider
Costimator® Cost Estimating Software has a new President, Rene Laviolette.
West Springfieled, MA, February 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- MTI Systems, Inc., announced today that Rene Laviolette has been named president of MTI Systems, Inc., serving as the company’s leader in West Springfield, MA. Laviolette will succeed Thomas Charkiewicz, who founded and led the cost estimating software provider since 1982.

Rene Laviolette has been the lead software developer and formerly Chief Operating Officer for MTI Systems since day one, back in 1982. His efforts have afforded MTI Systems to successfully, prosper for over 34 years. He led the original Costimator® development team from the beginning. MTI Systems has recently announced the 3DFX module, which allows Costimator® to use automatic feature recognition to estimate the cost of manufactured parts from 3D CAD models.
An active community leader, Laviolette was previously the president of the Rotary Club of Westfield, MA and now serves on its board of directors.
