Priority by Priority Software is Now TEC Certified for Mixed-Mode Manufacturing ERP
Rosh Haayin, Israel, February 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) is pleased to announce that Priority by Priority Software is now TEC Certified for mixed-mode manufacturing ERP software solutions.
Priority Software has been developing enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for 30 years. The company was formerly known as Eshbel Technologies and was founded in 1986, and from the start, has worked to deliver software that is rich in functionality yet easy to use. That goal has helped Priority to continue to build its customer base, which now stands at some 7,000 customers with more than 200,000 users globally. The vendor’s software now supports 18 languages and 20 localizations, and is used in 40 countries. The figure below depicts Priority’s global footprint.

The latest version of the software, V17, has a redesigned user interface to streamline the user experience across the software. The new interface is called the “priority-rich” interface. The new interface (written in HTML5) is responsive and adapts to any device. Priority has also developed a number of native apps for iOS and Android to support key mobile users, such as sales, field service, and warehouse operations.
The forms in Priority have been built to maximize the screen real estate. When entering a form in the system, the user has access to all of an entity’s information and related information on a single screen. A number of other subtle interface elements help make the system even easier to use than the previous version, including a row of shortcuts for all important form actions at the top, easy access to the user’s favorites list at the top, and access to global search. But if a user doesn’t like the screen layout or wishes to re-organize tabs and fields to match his/her job function, he/she can easily make these changes. The vendor form is shown below in figure 2.

The Priority solution is a full-featured ERP solution with robust functionality, and has many features that are seen only in solutions from vendors that are much larger than Priority. The system has customizable dashboards, global search, business process management, and integrated business intelligence tools. Most aspects of the system from the user’s individual forms, reports, and menus can be easily customized by a user without having to go bring in specialized technical resources.
All Priority software functionality is available in the cloud as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution. The cloud solution ensures that the customers’ software is automatically updated with the latest version. The Priority cloud solution also delivers high security and back-up/recovery levels. The SaaS solution is available for a monthly fee with no long-term commitment. Priority also has developed a starter kit option that provides a very fast solution implementation.
The Priority solution is competitive in all functional modules of TEC's models of ERP for mixed-mode manufacturing software solutions. TEC’s model for mixed-mode manufacturing includes modules for financials, human resources, discrete manufacturing management, process manufacturing management, and sales, purchasing, and quality management.
The full certification report with more details on the solution’s background, highlights, features and functions, and competitive strengths and weaknesses will be available on the TEC Certification Reports page shortly.
