Whitefish Marketing Attends Local Folkestone School’s Careers Fair

Folkestone, United Kingdom, February 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Educating the younger generation about Digital Marketing Careers.

Kent digital marketing specialist, Whitefish Marketing, joined local Folkestone Schools’ careers fair in hope to inspire a career pathway to students. The event took place on 5th Feb 2016, as part of an overall initiative by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce with future events to follow.

Whitefish Marketing's career stand wanted to engage and advise pupils in year 10 and 11 of Pent Valley about a job within the digital marketing sector. An informative career fact sheet that told students of opportunities, qualifications and a brief overview of what the job incorporates was available to all students. Additionally Chris Surridge, Digital Marketing Director of Whitefish Marketing, helped with a business workshop for students who were possibly thinking about a role in the digital world.

Chris Surridge, Commented on the event hosted by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce:
“The Careers fair is a great way for kids to gain knowledge of what types of careers are out there and how they can access them through different means of qualifications.”
