Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization Kicks off 2016 with Big Announcements
A Look at What’s Ahead for Atlanta’s Mobile Marketing Community
Atlanta, GA, February 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Atlanta Mobile Marketing Organization (AMMO) has kicked off its 2016 year with two exciting announcements: At the end of 2015, founder and co-director Kyle Rollins and co-director Josh Gertz welcomed Sarah Woodward as co-director to help grow the organization; and they announced internationally-recognized mobile leader Michael Becker will kick off the year’s first meetup as a guest speaker.
Woodward brings a mix of marketing, business development and mobile technology experience to the group. Day-to-day she serves as director of business development for stable/kernel, a mobile app strategy, design and development company specializing in iOS development, Android development, OS X development and web services development, based in Atlanta’s Inman Park, where she leads the company’s marketing and new business efforts.
AMMO Co-Founder Kyle Rollins said, “We were really fortunate to have Sarah join the AMMO team last year. As soon as I met her I knew she would be a perfect fit as she embodies the right mix of marketing savvy with a solid understanding of technology – especially mobile. We also enjoy our time with each other as a group, so its great to instantly click with another fun personality on a professional level…it just takes the ‘work’ out of working together.”
Woodward will help broaden the organization’s brand awareness, increase membership and create quality programming that helps the organization of meeting its goal to keep members on the cutting edge of mobile marketing and mobile technology.
Co-founder Josh Gertz stated, “We love having Sarah on the team. She was the missing piece that we needed to help us continue to grow AMMO and really take things to that next level.”
AMMO’s first member meetup will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 7:00 PM at Vert. The event will feature Michael Becker, Co-founder & Managing Partner for mCordis, and co-author of Mobile Marketing for Dummies. Becker will speak on “The Rise of the Connected Marketer.”
“We are so excited to have Mike Becker kick off this year’s thought leadership discussions,” said Woodward. “AMMO is committed to providing mobile marketers with an environment conducive to learning about and sharing mobile marketing expertise. Mike’s mastery of the subject is astounding, and we are fortunate to have him share his knowledge with the group.”
The event will be sponsored by Vert, a mobile-frst, digitally native, full-service digital marketing and advertising agency based here in Atlanta.
