Azevedo Family Psychology Opens in Cary, North Carolina; Veteran Psychologist from 3-C Family Services Opens New Practice
Cary, NC, February 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Don Fernando Azevedo, former executive director of 3-C Family Services, has announced the opening of his own private practice, Azevedo Family Psychology at 1903 N. Harrison Ave., Suite 201 in Cary, NC.
Azevedo Family Psychology opened January 4, 2016, and provides psychological assistance for families, children, adults, and professionals. Services include marital counseling, individual therapy, family therapy, professional coaching and workshops, and public speaking engagements.
The practice merges Dr. Azevedo’s experience in both the corporate and family worlds. His work is centered on positive, emotionally literate methods for mending marriages, interpersonal relationships and professional lives.
Expanding on his previous work, this new practice offers discernment counseling services. A recent professional addition for Dr. Azevedo, discernment counseling is a helpful first step before traditional marital counseling.
With the additional freedom of independent practice, Dr. Azevedo will also reintroduce Highlands Ability Battery and Highlands Whole Person Technology. These are geared towards professionals as a method of finding an optimal career path.

Dr. Don Fernando Azevedo holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee. After a tour with the 101st Airborne as a clinician and serving in miscellaneous hospitals and private practices, he spent time in the corporate sector with OR Consulting. His eventual return to family-centered work at 3-C Family Services led to the founding of his own practice in 2016.
