Short Term Care Insurance Association Launches Agent Training Program
To help educate insurance agents about the various short term care insurance products available, a comprehensive training program was announced today by the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care Information.
Los Angeles, CA, February 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A national training program for insurance agents who want to learn how to market and sell short term care insurance protection will commence.
"Short term care insurance is a product of growing importance to seniors as it fills gaps in Medicare benefits and is a very viable low-cost options for those considering long term care planning," explains Jesse Slome, director of the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care Information. The organization announced plans to launch a comprehensive agent training program.
"Few agents understand how these products work, how they can benefit their clients and prospects and our aim is to provide comprehensive education to interested insurance professionals," Slome adds. According to the National Advisory Center for Short Term Care Information, short-term care products are defined as those providing coverage for one year or less.
The training will be offered free-of-charge to agents and will involve participation from industry leaders. "We're going to have agents who are already successfully offering short term care insurance to their clients explain what they have learned that works," Slome notes.
