Let’s do Lunch Program Connects High School Senior Girls with Florida’s Most Influential Women

Winter Park, FL, December 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- MLB Creative, an award winning and women-owned advertising agency in Winter Park, Florida and St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands announced today they will partner with Orange County Public School System for “Let’s Do Lunch”, an inaugural event connecting high school senior girls with Florida’s most successful women. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from noon until 2pm at Flemings Prime Steakhouse, 933 North Orlando Avenue in Winter Park.

“The driving force behind this program is to mentor young women who aspire to achieve great things”, said MLB Creative Chief Creative Officer, Beth Mock LeBlanc.

Ten senior girls from Edgewater High School will be selected based on nominations by teachers, counselors and administrators with Orange County Public Schools and a 500 word essay on “Why I want to be a leader”. MLB Creative will chair and sponsor the lunch as well as choose the top ten candidates. The names of the girls chosen to participate will be announced on January 8, 2008. Students will have the chance to question the panel of women about their career paths, role models and challenging experiences, as well as ask for personal career guidance and networking tips.
