Toren AG Advises AEG PS in the Divestiture of Fluxpower and Primetech to Legrand
Toren AG advises AEG PS, a global provider of power electronics in the divestiture of its two non-core assets in Germany (Fluxpower) and Italy (Primetech) to Legrand.
Luxembourg, Luxembourg, March 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- 3W Power S.A., the holding company of AEG Power Solutions Group, a global provider of power supply solutions and service for critical infrastructure, announces the completion of the sale of its two multi-vendor UPS provider subsidiaries Fluxpower GmbH and Primetech Srl. to Legrand SA, a global specialist in electrical and digital building infrastructures.
Fluxpower, founded in 2010 (and acquired by AEG PS in 2011), is a multi-vendor UPS sales and service provider to the power electronics and facility management industry.
Primetech was founded 26 years ago and acquired by AEG PS in 2013. In addition to being a multi-vendor UPS supplier, Primetech has developed a robust service know-how covering the Italian critical power market.
AEG PS is a world provider or power electronics. It offers product and service portfolios in uninterruptible power supply (UPS), power conversion and control, for customers spanning the infrastructure markets of energy, telecom, lighting, transportation and general industry sectors. AEG PS developed a range of products for the solar energy industry, from solar central inverters, software monitoring, turn-key electrical balance of systems and has invested in areas or power management within distributed power generation and smart micro grids.

Legrand’s offering covers seven strategic fields of activity: User interface; Energy distribution; Building systems; Cable management; Digital infrastructure; UPS and Installation components.
