Torrance Chiropractor Offers Spinal Decompression Table for Neck and Back Pain Relief
South Bay Pain & Wellness provides chiropractic care, massage, Pilates, personal training, and more at www.sbpainandwellness.com.
Torrance, CA, February 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Torrance chiropractor, Misa Zaker, D.C., is now offering patients help for back and neck pain with a new, spinal decompression table at South Bay Pain & Wellness, www.sbpainandwellness.com. The new center provides chiropractic care, personal training, physical therapy, massage, Pilates, manipulation under anesthesia (MUA), and more to help patients feel better fast, reduce recurring injuries and live life to the fullest.
What is a Spinal Decompression Table?
To relieve pain and reduce aggravated nerves in the body, a patient lies on the spinal decompression table, and a lightweight strap is placed around their head. A certified professional sets the time, weight and level for the therapy. Then, the patient relaxes while the table slowly stretches the appropriate spine and muscles and provides oxygen to the discs.
“We make it easy for anyone to access our decompression table to help reduce disc pressure that is causing pain and limiting movement,” states Zaker, South Bay Pain & Wellness Founder and one of the few, certified MUA providers and instructors in the region. “We look at each patient’s specific issues and develop a unique, overall treatment for that individual which may include spinal decompression therapy, chiropractic care, physical therapy, or even just a simple, deep-tissue massage.”
Torrance Chiropractic Patients See Results with Spinal Decompression Table
“Dr. Zaker introduced me to the spinal decompression machine, and it changed everything,” states Brett Brizzell. “After about 11 or 12 visits, all of the tingling in my hands was gone. Although we were also treating me with stretches, muscle work, and strengthening, the decompression table seemed to play an enormous role in keeping me out of surgery.”
“I tried spinal decompression for the lumbar spine on a program on the decompression machine’s computer that was specifically designed for degeneration,” comments Nick O’connor, a patient at this Torrance chiropractor’s office. “After about six visits, I felt my muscles were less stiff and my pain had decreased substantially. I only wish I knew about this machine before I opted to get my neck surgery.”
“After Dr. Zaker ordered my MRI and the results came back that I had a few herniated discs in my low back, I thought I would need surgery,” exclaims Kristin Andrich. “Dr. Zaker told me that he had just added a spinal decompression table in his office. The first three or four times I tried it, I did not see much of a difference. But after the fifth visit, the radiating, sciatic pain down my leg started alleviating. And by the time I was on my 15th treatment, over 80 percent of the pain and tingling was gone. I am thankful that new advancements in technology can give patients like me other options other than surgery.”
