Infront Artists Announces Collaboration with Corz/Effect Films Documentary Feature Film "Going to California"
Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA, March 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Infront Artists announces involvement in the Los Angeles-set feature film documentary ‘Going to California’, directed by Award-Nominated filmmaker Cory Michael Dawson and produced by legendary actor Andy McPhee (FX’s ‘Sons of Anarchy’).
The film began production earlier this month, which focuses on the journeys of an aspiring Australian filmmaker and veteran Australian actor as they attempt to survive the Los Angeles lifestyle and provide hope to all aspiring creatives dreaming of coming to California to pursue their passion and dream. Interviews will be conducted with up and coming aspiring creatives’ and established artists who are working in their creative fields. Award-Nominated filmmaker Cory Michael Dawson says, “Everyone has a dream. California is a metaphor for that dream. This is that experience to motivate the world on how to make that happen,” said Dawson.
Producer of ‘Going to California’, International actor and acting coach Andy McPhee is known for his work in film and television. With over 100 acting credits to his name he has worked with some of the world’s most notable actors, including Tom Hanks, Emma Thomson, Michael Fassbender, Daniel Radcliffe, Norman Reedus, Joel Edgerton, Guy Pierce, Jackie Weaver, Colin Farrell and many more. Acting runs in the family because Andy is the father to Sianoa Smit-McPhee (Hung, Fallen, All Cheerleaders Must Die, Neighbours) and Kodi Smit-McPhee who will appear opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. Kodi is also known for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Let Me In, The Road, Romulus My Father and Gallipoli, and was coached in his acting by Andy from a very young age.
