Rockville, MD, February 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Apex Companies, LLC – a leading energy, water resources and environmental consulting and engineering firm – has acquired The Source Group (SGI), a technical consulting and environmental engineering firm specializing in complex subsurface site assessments, remedial design, and litigation management, and remediation.
With offices in Pleasant Hill, Grass Valley, Thousand Oaks and Signal Hill, California, SGI has been serving oil and gas, government, manufacturing, financial, construction, and real estate development clients since 1997. Their expertise spans environmental assessments, remediation and restoration, water resources evaluations and planning, risk management, legal/litigation support, and cost negotiations.
By combining forces, Apex grows to approximately 700 professionals; adds four new offices to its asset base; expands its portfolio with additional clients within the utilities, industrial manufacturing, and federal and state government sectors; and strengthens its regulatory framework with established relationships with California's Regional Water Boards and Department of Toxic Substances Control.
