MD Advocacy Group Launches 2016 Presidential Voter Crusade
The GrassRoots Steering Foundation, Inc. embarks on statewide Vote The Power!™ Campaign.
Baltimore, MD, March 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The GrassRoots Steering Foundation, Inc. will launch 2016 Vote The Power! ™ Campaign on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. The blended efforts of online outreach and on the ground advocacy are focal points in the statewide initiative. Vote The Power! ™ is a non-partisan statewide initiative to educate and empower citizens in local communities to vote in Maryland. During this election season, the campaign will register citizens to vote, educate voters of the new voting system to be implemented in Maryland this year, and encourage voters to research candidates and their positions on issues. Presently, representatives of the campaign are connecting with elected officials, making them aware of the campaign. Campaign volunteers are also making plans to canvass the Baltimore Metro area through scheduled events to register citizens to vote.
Their mission is two-fold:
1. To motivate local communities and communities of color to increase voter registration and participation in the political process.
2. To increase voter registration in the 18 to 40 year-old population.
All of the efforts of the Vote The Power!™ Campaign are non-partisan and are solely intended to motivate the voting population in the state of Maryland. The aim is to instruct local communities of the importance of being registered when contacting elected officials as well as the opportunity of being notified to serve as a juror.
Voter registration events will be conducted in collaboration with other non-partisan campaigns. Voter trends will be tracked through a strategic collaboration with local media outlets, and political analysts in Maryland. The target audience will be kept abreast of the campaign through social media. For more information, contact the campaign headquarters at: (410) 272-8346.
