2016 Tryouts for Rockies Basketball, 2015 National 17U USJN/NIKE Champions
2016 Boulder Rockies Basketball, is building its next team of National Champions. Tryouts to become a member of Rockies Basketball 2016 competitive teams will be held on March 12th for Middle school aged girls (6-8th grade) from 8-11:30 am at Thornton Middle School. High School (9-11th grade) and National Team tryouts will be held on March 13th 6-9 p.m. at Thornton Middle School. Pre-registration is required at www.rockiesbasketball.com/tryout.

Rockies are the 2015 USJN/Nike National Champions and the 2014 Blue Star National Champions. Tryouts to become a member of Rockies Basketball 2016 competitive teams will be held on March 12th and 13th.
Middle school aged girls (grades 6-8) tryouts will be held on March 12th from 8 – 11:30 a.m. at Thornton Middle School. Tryouts for High school-aged players (grades 9-11) will be held on March 13th from 6 – 9:30 p.m., also at Thornton Middle School. Pre-registration is required at www.rockiesbasketball.com/tryout. Please bring a basketball, water bottle and a great attitude. T-shirts will be provided at tryouts.
Players from all over Colorado and Wyoming are a part of the Rockies Basketball community. Rockies will run a shuttle service from the Northern Colorado area and the Colorado Springs area to team practices in Denver. Also, weekly skills development sessions are held weekly in Northern Colorado, Denver, and Colorado Springs.
Founded in 1987, Rockies Basketball is partnered with one of the most respected sports organizations in the United States, Triple Crown Sports. Rockies basketball teams compete at the highest levels and against the top teams of the country every year. Rockies Basketball works closely with Blue Star Basketball, the longest running national evaluation and college showcase organization in women's basketball. Thousands of the top college coaches in the country watched Rockies teams compete in the top NCAA exposure tournaments in the country including various AAU, NIKE and US Junior Nationals events. Rockies Basketball has helped hundreds of girls get recruited to play at the next level, more than any other club in Colorado.
The fundamental objective of Rockies is to help players become self-motivated and fundamentally sound leaders on and off the court through precise strategically based skill repetition and leadership development. Rockies players gain the skills needed to compete at the college level and then provide them with the opportunity to showcase those skills on a national stage.
