Unsung Heroes 4th Annual Leadership Gala
The Unsung Heroes Awards is in its fourth consecutive year, candidates are recognized for their outstanding commitment to excellence through academic achievement and visionary leadership. The Unsung Heroes Awards founded by Jeffrey Coprich, Jr. and Jeffrey Coprich, Sr. raises awareness about the importance of uplifting the Los Angeles community and beyond.
Los Angeles, CA, March 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Unsung Heroes Awards is an annual leadership Gala that celebrates the most accomplished men and women who are top athletic and academic achievers, social visionaries, community organizers, emerging leaders, celebrities and humanitarians. The Awards dinner will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at H.OM.E. (House of Music & Entertainment) 430 N. Camden Dr. Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Red carpet: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM and Dinner & Awards from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Jeffrey Coprich, Jr. is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley where he was a star running back and one of 22 players nationwide selected to the Allstate American Football Coaches Association Good Works Team for dedication to community service. Coprich was honored through his work with The Essence K. Coprich Library, in memory of his sister Essence Coprich who died at age 7 in a family car accident.
Jeffrey Coprich, Sr. is a longtime community activist who co-founded the “Inner City Destiny Awards.” Additionally, he is the founder of the “Inner City Youth Foundation,” and “LA Inner City Mass Choir” who was featured on Oxygen’s “Fix My Choir”starring gospel superstar Deitrick Haddon and Michelle Williams.
Confirmed guest appearance: Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
There will be performances by AD and Waylynn Pitts: AD is one of Compton’s hot new artist with his single “Juice” and the remix produced by League of Starz. The single features: TY Dolla Sign, the Game, OT Genasis, Iamsu and KCamp. AD most recently linked up with Dr. Dre on a freestyle project. Waylynn Pitts a native of Los Angeles, she is a singer, actress, a full figured model and sings background for the British R&B band Loose Ends.
Jessica Mikayla Adams will be one of the presenters of the evening. Adams is an actress known for Reel Kids (2014), Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports (2015) and Nickelodeon's Ultimate Halloween Costume Party (2015). Adams is a correspondent for FTS Kids News.

Jeffrey Coprich, Jr. created the book club to encourage inner-city youngsters to become more capable and enthusiastic readers, giving them a chance to pursue a future in college. He has worked with Congresswoman Maxine Waters, the I Am Foundation and the Los Angeles Unified School District to secure a grant to purchase new books for The Essence K. Coprich Library at 116th Street Elementary School in Los Angeles.
