In Celebration of Aviation, Weisbeck Design's 3-D Wall Sculpture, Created Using Vintage Reclaimed Airplane Car Hood Ornaments Wins Best Product 2015 by the Design Journal
International award winning sculptors create 3-D wall sculpture using vintage, reclaimed plane and jet car hood ornaments, winning Best Product 2015.
Rochester, NY, March 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Husband and wife international award winning sculpture team Mark and Diane Weisbeck's new wall sculpture, "Visibility Unlimited," recently won Best Product 2015, Sculpture, by the Design Journal, ADEX Awards, Editor's Choice. Vintage, reclaimed airplane and jet car hood ornaments are used to craft this wall mounted sculpture. It has generated a huge amount of interest, not only in the aviation industry. Vintage car, automobile and transportation enthusiasts are also excited by this artwork created with recycled car parts.
Mark and Diane Weisbeck are native New Yorkers and reside in Honeoye, NY. The Weisbecks were the only artists in the world invited by the government of China to represent New York State in the Beijing, China Olympics Landscape Sculpture Competition. The Weisbecks’ sculpture design, “The Celebration of Ren,” (people), was voted on by the citizens of China and won the prestigious “Excellent Works” Award. The Weisbecks are true Art Olympians.
The Weisbecks have been commissioned to create large scale public sculptures for the New York State Department of Transportation and the New York State Department of State. (Commissioned at $100,000.00 and $70,000.00 respectively.) They have created major healthcare sculptures as well as signature sculptures for world class museums.
Other major sculpture works have been designed and created for the government of China, such as 33 foot tall "Expanding Influence of Peace," which stands in the world's largest sculpture park, in Changchun, China. The Weisbecks create major wall mounted sculptures for the corporate, hospitality, healthcare and residential markets as well as exterior building wall sculptures and large scale public art.
