MMI Named One of the Top 10 Best Employers in North Carolina
Public Relations Firm Ranked Fourth on 2016 List of Best Places to Work in the State.
Raleigh, NC, March 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- MMI, a full-service public relations firm based in North Carolina’s Research Triangle region, has announced that it was named one of the Best Employers in North Carolina for 2016. The annual list, published in the March edition of Business North Carolina magazine, was created by Business North Carolina, the North Carolina State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Best Companies Group to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in North Carolina. MMI ranked fourth in the small-to-medium companies category.
The statewide survey and awards program honored 45 companies in two categories, including small-to-medium and large companies. MMI was specifically recognized for its flexible work schedules, robust benefits package – including employer-sponsored health insurance and a company matching 401(K) plan – as well as professional development programs.
Best Companies Group evaluated each nominated work place based on results from a two-part survey process. The first part, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation, considered each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part, worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation, consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
