These facts are the driving force behind the idea for a community-wide event focused on senior health.
Austin Senior Resource Alliance (www.austinseniorresourcealliance.com) and AustinUP (www.austinup.org) will host a day specially designed for baby boomers and seniors.
Attendees will spend the afternoon gathering tools and tips designed to empower and support seniors and baby-boomers as they age. Free materials focused on senior wellness will be available, as well as testing stations for hearing, fall prevention and fitness.
