Lipman® NURIT® PED-compliant Terminals and POS Application
Two new Class A supported Lipman Terminals include: NURIT® 8000 SECURE with GPRS and NURIT® 8100.

(NASDAQ, TASE: LPMA), today announced that the Lipman point of sale (POS) Retail/Restaurant application and the two new PED-compliant terminals, the NURIT 8000 SECURE (8010-US-M11) with General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and the NURIT 8100, have achieved Vital Processing Services® (Vital®) Class A approval.
The enhanced POS application supports credit, debit, electronic benefits transfer (EBT), and quick service restaurant transactions. Association-mandated compliance updates are included in the application.
The NURIT 8000 SECURE (8010-US-M11) terminal with GPRS Wireless communications compliments existing Motient® and Mobitex® offerings, and enables merchants to take advantage of the next generation of wireless technology with additional coverage and reliability.
The NURIT 8100 offers high-speed connectivity with dial and Internet protocol (IP) capabilities. Security is not a concern with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
An abundance of new Vital features are now available to these select NURIT terminals, including Vital Gift Card support, contactless payment support, Vital POS Check service support, enhanced communication, surcharge update and MasterCard®/Diners Club® updates.
