Hampton Resident Named Hampton County Representative for Young Democrats of South Carolina (YDSC)
Hampton, SC, March 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Sea Islands Region of Young Democrats of South Carolina is proud to announce that John Polk has been been selected as the Hampton County Representative at Young Democrats of South Carolina.
Born and reared in Hampton County, Polk is a veteran political operative and South Carolina Historian. At an early age, he acquired a deep appreciation for the Lowcountry while attending neighborhood public schools in Hampton County. And, he remains dedicated to the ideals of moving South Carolina forward.
"As a native of Hampton County, it is an honor to accept this appointment,” says Polk. “I am committed to working with young people across the sea island region to achieve common sense results for the greater good of the Palmetto State.”
