Hemet, CA, March 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Golden Village Palms, California’s largest luxury RV resort, announced today unveiled a special “Taste of Southern California” package during the weekend of April 22-24 in celebration of the state’s longest running outdoor play, “Ramona.”
For an all inclusive rate of $175, RVers receive a 2-night stay with full hook-ups at the amenities rich resort as well as 2 tickets to a performance of “Ramona” and transportation to and from the show. Also included is a weekend filled with special activities, kicking off with a Friday night poolside reception featuring local musicians, a nacho bar, and special tastings of Spanish beers and California wines. On Saturday, guests are treated to a continental breakfast before departing for the performance. That evening, Golden Village Palms hosts a California ranch-style BBQ featuring great food and performances by local musicians. The weekend concludes on Sunday with a continental breakfast, followed by a day spent relaxing by the pool, enjoying one of the many sporting activities offered by the resort, or simply taking in everything nature has to offer.
Established in 1923, “Ramona” has been thrilling audiences with the spirit of California’s vast history and traditions. More than just a love story, its pageantry and grander creates an aura of exuberance as hundreds of actors and extras, Spanish dancers and musicians, horses, cowboys, and of course, those who represent the rich heritage of Southern California’s Native Tribes, all come together to create America’s longest continuously running drama.
“For over 90 years, ‘Ramona’ has been thrilling audiences with its grand celebration of California’s bygone era. As this year’s performances near, we thought that we would honor this American classic by putting together a package that offers visitors to Hemet a truly memorable weekend of theater, entertainment, and food,” stated Golden Village Palms’ General Manager Michael Carle.
