elements® Brands Laments Passing of Former CEO
Executive business leader Bruce Fabel, 54, found dead in his Tampa home
Miami, FL, March 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- elements® brands former CEO and longtime business and brand executive Bruce Fabel has died. Fabel, 54, was found in his home on West Leona Street in South Tampa just after noon Thursday, according to Tampa police. A 911 call was placed when he did not show up at work.
Fabel had an impressive business and leadership background, including a successful tenure as SVP Global Retail for Nike, and VP Retail for Warner Brothers. He had served as a top executive and was considered among the best in his field.
Fabel relocated to Boca Raton, FL in 2010 and was named CEO for elements® fitness brands. Throughout his tenure the company expanded significantly its footprint in the lifestyle space, and announced expansion into the weight loss industry with the (spinoff) of it’s BalanceDiet™ Weight Loss and slimberry® brands. Fabel focused the company on key areas of developing lifestyle and consumer products, as well as creating a scalable rollout structure for retail health club and BalanceDiet™ locations.
Under Fabel’s tenure, the company was restructured to become a “family of healthy lifestyle brands,” with growth and expansion which continues today.
“Bruce was an inspirational leader for our brands. His experience and background with Nike and Warner Brothers came at a period of crucial growth for our company. He provided leadership as well as strategic planning which allowed us to build the necessary framework for our current multi-brand growth structure, as well as a future path to shareholders,” commented Christopher Palumbo, brand Founder.
“On a more personal note, I am grateful for having had the opportunity to know and work with Bruce. He provided me with valuable guidance and expertise that only years of hard work and real-life leadership can teach.”
Fabel presided at elements® Miami Beach headquarters until June 2012, when he was replaced by brand Founder Christopher Palumbo. He went on to become the President of Ideal Image, a laser hair removal firm, owned by Steiner Leisure Partners. A spokeswoman for Ideal Image confirmed his death on Friday.
