Local Attorney/Mediator to Develop and Host Educational Program Regarding Children in Mediation in Virginia
Martinsburg, WV, March 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Martinsburg attorney/mediator, Brenda Waugh, has worked with the Virginia Mediation Network to develop a series of regional educational programs to be presented throughout Virginia during the month of March. Brenda Waugh, a member of the Board of Directors of VMN has worked with experts to create the program that addresses ethical issues raised when mediation involves children.
In developing the program, Ms. Waugh called on the experience of a number of experts in the field to help mediators struggling with issues such as reporting child abuse and neglect, involving children in mediation and calculating child support without engaging in the practice of law.
The format of the program includes a video panel discussion produced by VMN that is interwoven with on-site discussions by participant. Ms. Waugh will be facilitating an on-site discussion at the session scheduled on March 29, 2016 in Roanoke, Virginia. For information contact Ms. Waugh at brendawaugh.com or 304-263-6601 or the Virginia Mediation Network at vamediation.org or 571-399-8660.
