iPatientCare Named as a Qualified PQRS Registry for Year 2016 by CMS
iPatientCare is Pleased to Announce Its Selection as a Nationwide CMS Qualified Registry to Report Healthcare Quality Measures for Year 2016
New York, NY, March 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- iPatientCare, a pioneer in cloud-based ambulatory EHR and Revenue Cycle Management services, announced today that it has been selected as a Qualified Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) Registry by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for Year 2016. Eligible providers will be able to submit their data directly to the CMS with the help of iPatientCare PQRS reporting service.
Individual EPs and group practices can quantify how often they are meeting a particular quality metric by reporting on PQRS quality measures. The program applies negative payment adjustment to individual EPs and PQRS group practices who did not satisfactorily report data on quality measures for Medicare Part B Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) covered professional services in 2013. Those who report satisfactorily for the year 2016 program will avoid the 2018 PQRS negative payment adjustment.
iPatientCare’s PQRS Reporting Registry is an easy-to-use solution for seamlessly reporting quality data through the iPatientCare EHR. Submission of quality data is tied to future pay-for-performance outcomes through the Value-Based Payment Modifier program.
“iPatientCare has been selected as a qualified Registry for Year 2016 third time in a row by CMS. We’ve always been helping our clients to analyze, collect and report data pertaining to the quality of care and are pleased to provide them the option of Registry based PQRS reporting with iPatientCare EHR,” said Arnaz Bharucha, Senior Technology Officer, iPatientCare.
