PlaneSense, Inc.’s Second Delivery of Nextant Jet Brings Them to “Fleet” Status
The PlaneSense program will receive delivery of the third aircraft later in the quarter, as well as receive delivery of the final two in 2017.
Portsmouth, NH, March 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- PlaneSense, Inc. (www.planesense.com), the manager of the largest civilian fleet of Pilatus PC-12 aircraft in the world, announced that Nextant Aerospace, a Directional Aviation Capital company, maker of the 400XTi, has completed the second delivery of a 400XTi aircraft to PlaneSense, Inc., a fractional private jet ownership company based out of Portsmouth, NH. As of the beginning of 2016, the PlanesSense® program manages a civilian fleet of 36 total program aircraft, made up of thirty-four Pilatus PC-12 aircraft and 2 Nextant 400XTi twin-engine jet aircraft. Typically, several new PC-12s are delivered each year.
The growing XTi fleet expands operations for PlaneSense® program clients. The PlaneSense program 400XTi displays a unique custom branded interior. Jay Heublein, Executive Vice President for Nextant Aerospace, believes this kind of attention to detail and customer service shows how the PlaneSense fractional aircraft ownership program is truly unique and remarkable.
The PlaneSense program will receive delivery of the third aircraft later in the quarter, as well as receive delivery of the final two in 2017. The President and CEO of PlaneSense, George Antoniadis, stated, “We have flown nearly 100 hours per month since the acquisition of the first 400XTi, and the addition of the second and third aircraft will further increase our ability to provide clients with even more jet access.”
The PlaneSense fractional program provides point-to-point private air travel for up to six travelers, primarily within the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, and the islands of the Caribbean. Authorization to fly to and from Bermuda and Cuba is pending. Customers are guaranteed departure times as soon as 8 hours after a flight request, depending on the size of the aircraft share owned. PlaneSense, Inc. is not, itself, an air charter provider or commercial air carrier, but charter flights can be arranged through its sister company, Cobalt Air, LLC, an FAA-certified air carrier authorized to conduct on-demand air charter operations.
