Successful Advertising Veteran Tom Score Joins KZSW Advertising
Setauket, NY, March 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- KZSW Advertising, a full-service advertising agency located in Setauket, NY, announced today that Tom Score has joined the agency as a Senior Vice President. Tom comes aboard with several accounts he’s handled for many years and will work to attract new business as well. “It is with great excitement I join forces with Jack Schultheis and Michael Welch, two outstanding ad guys that I’ve admired for many years. I look forward to helping KZSW continue to grow and to create effective strategies and campaigns that produce bottom line results for our clients.”
"For 35 years, KZSW has prospered despite a notable shortcoming: we’re so fo- cused on our existing clients that we sometimes neglect to pursue new ones. Tom will fix that,” said agency president Schultheis. "He has a proven track record for getting and growing new accounts. He’s a true professional, skilled in every as- pect of this business. And he has the most important characteristic we look for in all our people: he’s a quality human being.”
For over 25 years, Tom has managed advertising for some of the world’s largest, most prestigious firms. His work has included oversight of nationwide branding campaigns, sophisticated websites, direct-response marketing, public relations programs, major trade show installations, and many other initiatives.
He founded KDJ Advertising in 2003 and managed all day-to-day operations while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with offices in Manhattan and on Long Island.
Tom established a strong niche in financial services marketing while also serving clients in the nonprofit, hospitality and family entertainment industries. His team served as the de facto marketing department for flagship account North Fork Bank (now Capital One Bank), managing all advertising and marketing and spearheading North Fork's entry into the competitive New York City market. Additional accounts included Atlantis Marine World Aquarium, Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect (CCAN), DTCC, Interactive Data Corp, Mashreq Bank (Dubai) and several top Long Island restaurants, including Prime and Tellers.
Among Mr. Score’s career highlights:
Managing and directing North Fork Bank’s entry into the NYC/Metro market through branding strategy and new product introductions, raising North Fork’s industry profile and setting the stage for North Fork’s eventual purchase by Capital One.
The national rollout of the FEMA Flood Insurance Program.
Rebranding of Sandler O’Neill after September 11, 2001.
A national campaign to establish ProTrader Securities as the leader in electronic trading – a positioning that resulted in the company’s sale to Instinet for $152 million.
Received the 2008 Gold Sabre Award for Herald National Bank corporate media relations program (Business Media).
Winner of over a dozen Telly Awards for Excellence in TV commercial production, and many other industry awards.
