This book was written to highlight the many stories that took place in and around The Van Nuys Hotel/Barclay Hotel located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. There are a number of rumors and misinformation circulating regarding the over one dozen suicides, murders, and mysterious accidental deaths that occurred in this hotel. Newspaper articles, coroner's reports, and death notices were found and the facts of what actually happened are now available in one complete collection.

J.M. decided to leave banking in 2008 to dedicate her effort to her passion for art and writing. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Psychology and three Associate of Arts degrees in Liberal Arts in various areas of emphasis. J.M. is also a former resident of the Barclay Hotel and had lived there for over seven years.
