Grimaldi’s Pizzeria Partners with Odell Brewery to Launch Third Day IPA
The brewers at Odell announced today that they will be distributing a special, limited release session style IPA, Third Day IPA, in collaboration with Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. Odell will be offering Third Day IPA exclusively at their taproom and at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria’s three Colorado restaurants.
Fort Collins, CO, April 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The brewers at Odell announced today that they will be distributing a special, limited release session style IPA, Third Day IPA, in collaboration with Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. Odell will be offering Third Day IPA exclusively at their taproom and at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria’s three Colorado restaurants. Fans of Third Day IPA can frequent any of the locations, including: Denver Pavilions in downtown Denver, Park Meadows in Lone Tree CO and Grimaldi’s newest location Foothills in Fort Collins.
The new IPA started its journey in Odell’s pilot brewery, home to Odell’s brewing innovation Center, based in Fort Collins, Colorado. The brewery is a hub of beer exploration, innovation and passion, where some of the best and brightest brewers have been busy brewing and refining their technique since 1994.
The Third Day IPA was inspired by pre WW1 style IPAs that balance hops with just the right amount of malt, creating a smooth, low ABV but flavorful beer. As a collaboration between the Grimaldi’s and Odell teams, careful thought was taken to create the hop and malt balance that would best pair with Grimaldi’s pizza. At 6.8% ABV, Third Day IPA is a smooth, refreshing beer with slight hoppy aftertaste.
To kick off the introduction of Third Day IPA, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will tap the first keg during a special event at the Fort Collins location, on opening day. The amount kegged is limited, so fans of both Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Odell Brewery are recommended to arrive early.
