International Conference on Algal Technologies (ICAT-2016) to be Hosted in Punjab, India
ICAT 2016 is a platform for academicians, researchers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and corporate houses to come, learn, share, network and develop.
Kapurthala, India, April 02, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Sevas Educational Society with its vast entrepreneurs network in India is pleased to announce The International Conference on Algal Technologies (ICAT-2016), will be held in Punjab, India from 14-16 July 2016.
This follows a successful bid to host the ICAT 2016 conference being lodged by the Rahul Budh Vihar Prabandhak Committee, Jalandhar, Punjab and eminent organizations in algal technologies in Punjab State, India. It is expected that 1500 people, including both international and domestic delegates, will attend the ICAT 2016 conference which will be held at the Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala, Punjab, India.
The Theme of the Conference will be "Advancing algal technologies - challenges and solutions". Underlying the theme is the belief that full social inclusion of algal technologies is possible by learning and sharing advanced technologies, promoting algae applications at every walks of life, including interdisciplinary approach and also trying to implement these technologies at rural level.
The conference will present content in a wide array of teaching styles such as didactic lectures, extensive question and answer and group discussion sessions, group workshops, and ample networking opportunities. Through this variety of teaching/learning styles, the faculty will enhance the knowledge of algal technologies. The conference includes, call for paper presentation and international journal publication, direct interaction with entrepreneurs, paper and poster presentations by students, speech opportunity for industries, high Impact Symposium and panel discussion, workshop on functional foods and nutraceuticals, workshop on Advances in Algal Biomass Technologies and many more.
Special sessions were also included for Algal Landscape Architecture, Algal oil and mechanical engineers, computer simulation of algal ponds and phycology waste management for bringing together Architecture Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Computer Engineers and Civil Engineers. The conference includes scientific paper presentations and poster presentations and the last date of submission of the proposal is on April 15th 2016.
