NSC & SCC to Hold Careers Fair

Oswestry, United Kingdom, April 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- North Shropshire College (NSC) will be holding Your Future Careers Fair at its Oswestry Campus on Wednesday 13th April from 10am to 7pm, the fair is being held in partnership with Shropshire Chamber of Commerce (SCC). The fair is an ideal opportunity for young people aged between 14 and 24 to see what avenues are open to them and what opportunities are available in education, employment and training.

The Fair will be attended by Harper Adams University, Glyndŵr University, British Army, Shrewsbury Town FC, British Ironworks Centre, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Chester University, Oswestry Leisure Centre, NSC Apprenticeships plus many more. The day will also include ‘Have-A-Go’ Workshops run by experienced business people and organisations, all to benefit and inspire attendees. The day is open to the public and schools as well as NSC students; it is a drop in session so there is no need to book a place.

Sarah Probert, NSC’s Business Course Leader, commented, "‘We are thrilled to be welcoming members of the business community to NSC, I would like to thank them along with Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Oswestry Chamber of Commerce for helping us at NSC promote career opportunities for young people. There is still time to book a stall, we are also keen for business leaders to come along and hold mock interviews."
