Ms. Richardson has almost 50 years experience in the childcare field. She is the Owner and Full-Time Operator of Sugar & Spice Childcare which provides care to hundreds of children in the Michigan area. She specializes in administration, management and oversees the daily operations. Ms. Richardson is certified and licensed by the Consumer & Product Services Department in the State of Michigan. She is also certified for both CPR and First Aid.
Ms. Richardson was awarded Top Citizen and Valedictorian from Willow Run High School in 1962, was President of the Spanish Club and National Honors Society, and was active in Pep Club, Band, Choir, Yearbook Staff, Science Club and was a Baton-Flag Twirler. She is a Volunteer for the March of Dimes and has been a Member of Church of Christ since 1963. Her recipes have been published in “The Taste of Heaven” cookbook published by Morris Press.
Born on May 29, 1944 in Highland Park, Michigan, Ms. Richardson married Douglas Randall Richardson on August 22, 1964. They have three children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys family activities, synchronized swimming, walking, reading, bowling, sewing, cross-country skiing and gardening.
