Record Attendance at AAMSI's National Medicare Supplement Insurance Summit
A record number of attendees will be present at the 2016 National Medicare Supplement insurance Summit, the national Medigap conference organized by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.
Los Angeles, CA, April 05, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Over 600 leaders from across the Medicare and Medicare Supplement insurance industry will converge shortly to attend the upcoming 2016 National Medicare Supplement industry Summit.
"We're seeing record-setting attendance for the eighth national conference a sign of continued growth of Medicare Supplement insurance in the United States," report Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI). The national Medigap trade group organizes the national conference taking place April 25-27 at the Westin Hotel at Crown Center in Kansas City, MO.
The conference brings together industry leaders who market, sell, price, administer and support Medigap products. "Sales of Medicare Supplement insurance policies reach 12.2 million in 2015, compared to 9.7 million policies sold in 2010," Slome shared. He attributes the growth of the industry and the fact that this is the one place where Medigap insurance people can meet with their peers as factors accounting for the heightened attendance.
As part of the conference, a free day program will take place immediately prior to the start of the formal conference. "This is a special program for insurance agents and financial professionals who want to learn about Medicare Supplement marketing and sales and meet with conference exhibitors," Slome explains. AAMSI expects about 100 people will be attending the free day events.
In addition, for the first time. the AAMSI Summit will be filmed with recordings available after the conference for free online viewing. "Being able to watch is great but nothing can replace the benefit of face-to-face interaction," Slome concludes.
