Oncology practice with six locations installs Rabbit’s EMR software
Austin, TX, January 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Rabbit Healthcare Systems of Austin, Texas, has just completed installation of electronic medical records software for its largest client to date – Capital Oncology, a quickly growing oncology practice in Olympia, Wash.
In December, Rabbit Healthcare Systems wrapped up implementation of electronic medical records (EMR) software for five of Capital Oncology’s six offices. The sixth office is set to go online in January. The oncology practice comprises six doctors.
With Capital Oncology, Rabbit Healthcare Systems now serves oncology practices throughout the United States that have nearly 20 sites.

Capital Oncology offers diagnostic treatments – including on-site chemotherapy and laboratory services – to patients in five counties through six offices in Olympia, Auburn, Chehalis, Morton and Shelton. The practice has logged more than 20,000 patient visits since May.
Craig Wyzik, practice administrator at Capital Oncology, says Rabbit Healthcare Systems was selected from an initial pool of about 12 vendors. He says Capital Oncology was impressed by the efficient design, ease of use and functionality of Rabbit Healthcare Systems’ technology. “And it was much more cost-effective than the other vendors we were looking at,” Wyzik says.
He also compliments Rabbit Healthcare Systems for its responsiveness to requests for software tweaks and troubleshooting.
