Taste of Richland and Market Spring Event on April 24
Georgia Grown Spring Tasting and Market Place Event on April 24th in Historic Downtown Richland, with artisan food and beverages from South Georgia's craft producers.
Richland, GA, April 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday, April 24th, there will be a unique opportunity to meet some 30 local food and beverage Artisans and taste samples of their gourmet expressions, all crafted in South Georgia. All products on display can be sipped, sampled and purchased.
The Taste of Richland & Market breaks with Festival conventions and is one of a kind: all products displayed can be purchased by the public, including the alcoholic craft beverages. The setting will be unique as all exhibitors will have spacious and personalized stations in the Historic Richland Hotel and the Richland Rum distillery, consisting of two barrel houses and an open air courtyard. The inviting venues allow visitors to stroll from vendor to vendor in the ambiance of the historic hotel and the atmosphere offered by the barrel houses of an authentic Rum Distillery.
Karin Vonk of Richland Rum said, "Richland Rum is honored to be hosting this unique event. The Taste of Richland and Market is a wonderful platform for craft producers from South Georgia to promote and market their artisan products, such as grass fed meat, ice cream, craft beer, breads and cookies, jellies, organic produce, fair trade coffee, wine, single estate rum and much more." She continued, "The City of Richland's spring event is unique in the sense that it is combination of a typical food and wine festival with a farmers market, where guests can sample and buy the products they enjoy."
Visitors are invited to sample and purchase the best in locally crafted pastries, bread, chocolate, craft beer, fair trade coffee, wine, pecans, jelly, olive oil, and much more.
Among the exhibitors will be a number of local restaurants holding cooking demonstrations and offering fine southern menu items.
Participants are: 11th & Bay Southern Table, HighRoad Craft Ice Cream, 13th Colony Distilleries, Cafe Campesino, Stillpond Winery, Sweet Georgia Baking Co., Center Stage Organic Market, Five Point Berries wines, Georgia Olive Oil Farms, Omaha Brewing Co., The Square Restaurant Moultrie, Cake Art by Jen, The Juice Box, Richland Rum, and many more.
