New York, NY, April 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Ernesto Gismondi, President of Artemide Group is pleased to invite you to view the 2016 Artemide Collection presentation in Milan on Tuesday April 12th 2016 at 7pm at Artemide Monforte, Corso Monforte 19, Milan.
Designers Armand Louis / Atelier Oi, Bjarke Ingels & Jakob Lange / BIG, Carlotta de Bevilacqua, Michele De Lucchi, Mike Holland / Foster + Partners, Martin Bremer / Mercedes Benz Style, and Tapio Rosenius/ LDC will be in attendance.
The new collections will also be presented at the both Artemide Showrooms in Milan at Via Manzoni 12 and Corso Monforte 19, and the Danese Showroom in Piazza San Nazaro in Brolo 15 from April 12th to 17th from 10am - 9pm.

Artemide is a worldwide leader in lighting design with an unparalleled commitment to technological innovation and research. Founded in 1959 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, the company grew out of the Memphis Design collective and specializes in the manufacture of lighting designed by architects. Based in Milan, Artemide has collaborated with some of the world’s most talented designers including Naoto Fukasawa, Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Karim Rashid and Herzog and de Meuron. Among Artemide’s extensive product line are two icons of modern Italian design: the Tizio Desk Lamp designed by Richard Sapper in 1972 and the Tolomeo Desk Lamp designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1986, both of which are included in the permanent collections of museums around the world. Throughout its 50-plus year history, Artemide has won a number of design honors including multiple awards from Compasso d’Oro, Red Dot Design and Wallpaper Magazine, amongst others.
