Devoted Foster Mom Receives the Gift of a More Beautiful Home
Inaugural project by Design Heals to benefit a deserving foster parent. Design Heals is a non-profit organization founded by Tiffany Parker of Parker Interiors Staging & Redesign, LLC. The foster parent received a custom-designed multi-functional family room to help her create a stable, nurturing space for the children she welcomes into her home.
Ft. Washington, MD, April 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Design Heals recently completed its first project. They helped Patricia, who was chosen for her well-known devotion to at-risk children within the foster care system.
Patricia has been providing a stable, nurturing home for foster children. She frequently opens her home to children who are more challenging to place.
Design Heals was able to provide Patricia with furniture and accessories to complete a redesign in her family room. They created a bright and cheerful space. It has areas dedicated to studying and play-time and is anchored by a comfortable seating area. It was designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of ages.
Many of the pieces of wall art feature messages and words that will inspire and encourage all who spend time here.
Utilizing the creativity, talents and resources of the Parker Interiors Staging & Redesign LLC design team, Design Heals is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create a positive change in the lives of those who are faced with adversity and challenges.
Tiffany Parker, owner of Parker Interiors Staging and Redesign LLC, founded Design Heals. She is addressing the fact that regardless of your circumstances, people are deeply affected by their surroundings. “We create spaces to promote unity, peace and balance in an otherwise unbalanced world. This need is often neglected among individuals and families that are in crisis or trying to reestablish a sense of normalcy,” said Tiffany. Tiffany added, “When a person or family are struggling to meet their daily needs, creating a nurturing home environment can seem like a luxury and not a basic foundation on which to build their future.”
Our focus is on foster children, battered women and those battling cancer. Each of these groups deal with un-certainty and some are living in spaces that are not their own. Design Heals is committed to bringing calm and serenity to their lives one space at a time.
