Super Heat and Air Partners with The TEAL Recovery Project for 4th Annual Fundraising Event
The highly-rated Tampa Bay air conditioning company co-sponsors event at Jackson’s Bistro in Tampa, Florida with wristbands to create awareness for cervical cancer.
Tampa, FL, April 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Super Heat and Air, a highly rated and trusted air conditioning and heating company that services the entire Tampa Bay area, has partnered with The Teal Recovery Project to co-sponsor its 4th annual cervical cancer awareness fundraiser.
The Teal Recovery Project fundraiser, which will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at Jackson’s Bistro on Harbor Island, will donate all of the proceeds from the event to Sharlene Mojica, the 2016 recipient and a single mother of three boys who is battling cervical cancer for the second time.
Super Heat and Air co-sponsored the event by providing the teal and white wristbands that will be given to attendees with their $20 donation. The festivities will include music by Kayla Engberg and Nat Drum-her and DJ Jason Kitchen, as well as live art by Bianca Burrows and visual excitements from Sky Art Entertainment.
This year’s guest host is the talented and charismatic Doug Hensel of HSN and the Tampa Bay Rays. Complimentary cuisine from some of Tampa Bay’s best local restaurants including Ciccio Restaurant Group, Ducky’s, 717, Ava, Zen Bistro Grill and more will be offered to event guests with their donation.
Tampa Bay Rays superstar 3rd baseman Evan Longoria will auction off a baseball lover’s experience at the event to one lucky beneficiary. The event will also feature a silent auction with 2013 recipient Rena Carideo and host Doug Hensel, as well as super raffle items for all guests.
The Teal Recovery Project will be offering a treasure chest packed full of goodies valued at $1000+ for one lucky winner.
Sharlene Mojica’s battle with cervical cancer began in April 2015. Sharlene has received a series of chemotherapy and radiation treatments and went into remission, but in October 2015, she learned that her cancer had returned. Proceeds from the event will help Sharlene pay for all of her upcoming life-saving procedures.
The Teal Recovery 4th Annual Fundraiser will be held on Wednesday, April 6th from 7:00–11:00pm at Jackson’s Bistro, located at 601 S. Harbour Island, Tampa, FL 33602.
