Fisher & Phillips announced that special panelists at this year’s event will be EEOC Field Office Director, John Lowrie, and Rufina Hernandez, Director of the Colorado Civil Rights Division (CCRD). Mr. Lowry and Ms. Hernandez will discuss workplace anti-discrimination laws, the EEOC’s national Strategic Enforcement Plan, the CCRD’s role, and what effect this has on all employers.
Fisher & Phillips Denver Managing Partner, Todd Fredrickson, will present a second session, “Why Let Bad Behavior Place Your Company at Risk?” This discussion will address an employer’s right to prohibit inappropriate conduct and maintain the work environment best suited to its needs.
Fisher and Phillips attorneys will conduct a third session consisting of roundtable discussions; topics include Immigration Compliance, EEOC Discrimination Charges, and Non-Compete and Trade Secrets Issues.
The event will conclude with a Panel of Experts: employment lawyers and HR professionals will discuss practical challenges employers face in dealing with the subjects covered during the seminar, as well as answer questions submitted by seminar attendees.
