Paramount Trade Discretionary Service Uptake Jumps
Paramount Trade says it has experienced a sharp increase in the number of clients choosing its flagship service.
Tokyo, Japan, April 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Paramount Trade is pleased to announce that client demand for its flagship discretionary investment management service offering has doubled in the last six months following a decision to offer a 3-month moratorium on management fees.
Announced in July 2015, the incentive ran from August 2015 through February 2016. It invited new and existing clients to upgrade to the discretionary service with the promise of 3 months’ free management and a further 12 months of 0% management charges if average net return on their portfolios came in at less than 7% in the first year.
“Our incentive scheme has worked very well and we’re well on target to achieving our target for 60% of our client base to be using our discretionary service by the end of 2016,” says David Markland, Director of Portfolio Management at Paramount Trade.
“We feel that our discretionary service better serves the needs of our clients since it gives us the authority to proceed with purchases or sales on their behalves without the need to obtain permission beforehand. This can often mean the difference between seizing a fantastic opportunity in the market and missing out altogether,” Markland continues.
Paramount Trade offers a capital advisory service for clients with experience or knowledge of the financial markets who prefer to make the final call with regard to execution of trades. We made the decision to incentivize our discretionary service after an internal review of our business showed that the difference in performance between discretionary and capital advisory was fairly significant.
“Discretionary clients were taking full advantage of opportunities while, on many occasions, we were unable to secure permission from capital advisory clients in sufficient time to execute trades,” says Markland.
