Metropolitan International Fashion Week Miami Announces Preliminary Designer Line Up and Event Schedule

Miami, FL, April 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Metropolitan International Fashion Week Miami (MMIFW) is back and thrilled to once again host a series of events and fashion shows from April 21-30, 2016.

MMIFW kicks-off April 21st with a fundraiser at the Tesla Motors Dadeland showroom, 7535 N. Kendall Dr. Miami, FL 33156, from 7pm-10pm to benefit their official charity partner Chapman Partnership.

A private reception for the MMIFW VIP Launch Party will follow April 27th at French 27, 850 Commerce St, Miami Beach, FL 33139, and consist of MMIFW’s fashion designers, models, sponsors, staff, distinguished guests, and members of the media. Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and appetizers, and a special fashion show by designer Rene Mejia.

MMIFW will celebrate “A Night of Fashion” on April 30, 2016, at the historic Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, 1700 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Ten emerging and established designers from Argentina, Canada, Brazil, the United States, and Uzbekistan will present their latest collections of men and women’s daywear, eveningwear, swimwear, resort wear, and women’s bridal.

The preliminary line up of designers presenting their Spring/Summer collections includes: Catwalk Generation, CJG Design, Elena Milberger, Evelli by Susan Panter, Kimii Loo, Mohit Swimwear, Omagua Swimwear, Sandbar Collection, Suhaila Niazi, and RSP - Rosaura Sias Pipenburg.

Notable guest attending 2016 MMIFW include: Award-winning Latin musician Tito Puente Jr, Con Estilo TV show hostess Silvana Camarago, Brazilian plus-size model and fashion blogger Karina Moutran, actor and international recording artist Willie Panama, actress and print model Tammy Torres, Angela Posillico, CEO for Ms. International World as the official host, and acclaimed haute couture designer and international nightclub entrepreneur Gerry Kelly.
