Anheuser-Busch is Official Beer Sponsor of WAKA Kickball & Social Sports
Washington, DC, April 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- WAKA Kickball & Social Sports, the nation’s largest social sports club for people 21+, today announced its new partnership with Anheuser-Busch, making Bud Light the Official Beer of WAKA. The partnership will include experiential marketing activations, as well as the addition of the Bud Light logo to all WAKA league t-shirts, website, and promotional items.
Bud Light has long been a favorite for team celebrations on and off the field. Now, it will have a prime presence at WAKA’s leagues and events across the country, including the 19th annual WAKApalooza Weekend in Las Vegas, NV, which had 3000+ participants in 2015.
“Anheuser-Busch is excited to partner with WAKA as their national beer partner,” says Andrew Porter, Sr. Director of Trade Marketing at Anheuser-Busch. “We believe that social sports leagues provide the ideal platform to connect Bud Light with consumers through enhancing both the on field and post-game bar experience.”
“The social culture, enjoying games with friends after work, and sharing stories over a pitcher at the league bar is a big part of the WAKA culture,” says WAKA Co-Founder Johnny LeHane. “Bud Light embodies this culture and will be a great partner to bring more people in our community together for seasons to come.”
